I'm an Arcata native and graduated from Arcata High and Humboldt State University.​ I serve my community as a board member for Cal Poly Humboldt Foundation and a member of the Arcata Fire Department Measure F Oversight Committee.  Additionally, I volunteer for numerous local organizations and am a member of the Eureka Elk’s Lodge #652, Rotary of Arcata and Faith Center Church.
